An honest note
HENRY XFORD is closing its doors.
For years we made shoes the same way — cut, lasted and finished by hand, built to be resoled instead of replaced. We never chased a season and we never cut a corner to hit a price.
We are closing our doors, and every pair still on the shelf leaves at a fraction of what it cost to make. When a size is gone, it is gone — these lasts will not be cut again.

What our customers say
Real photos from our customers

Tried them on the sofa at home first. Really soft, and the low profile looks good with cropped trousers.

walked the beach boardwalk in these, no socks, and they felt crazy light the whole time.

Used them in the garden for a few hours, just slipping in and out while doing stuff. The little bow keeps them from looking like plain house shoes.

slipped them on for balcony coffee, and the bow just works with jeans.

Nice with tailoring at the gallery, super soft and light. Bow's a bit more noticeable than I expected.

for the farmers market, they were easy on and off, and the unlined feel made them stay cool.

on the boat trip they stayed comfortable, even with denim, and the soft leather moved right away.

at the hotel lobby, they looked right with a blazer and still felt like slippers. not stiff at all.

HENRY XFORD is closing its doors. Every pair still on the shelf leaves at a fraction of what it cost to make, and the 80% is already reflected in the price you see. Not a promotion. A farewell on our own terms.
Every product page has its own size guide with EU, UK, US and centimetre conversions. Trace your foot, measure heel to longest toe, and match it to the table. Our shoes run true to size; if you are between two sizes, take the larger one — leather softens and moulds to your foot within the first week.
No. This is the final run. Each size was made once and will not be produced again. When a size sells out, it leaves the site for good — if you find your size available, it is the last time you will.
Every pair is cut, lasted and finished by hand, on full-grain leather that softens and moulds to the foot. They are built to be resoled and worn for years, not replaced.
